The problem with this “modern” approach is that it reinforces the message of “modern” golf professionals that golf is a complex technique and that you should concentrate on 60 different things when you swing the golf ball. It is too complicated to make things simple!

In a traditional teaching method that may be so, however, it is the 60% of the things you think are not required that are extremely important. In the traditional teaching method the global handicap index has not changed in over 30 something years. It might just be time to start looking at all the possibilities instead of a single minded approach to learning.

The cube is simply a geometric solution to golf. Nobody can match the cube perfectly, but it’s a few things to keep in mind during your swing to make it smooth. Purely geometric

is this his old swing. He doesn’t seem to lay the club off or create the unorthodox lag now
May 7th, 2010 at 12:07 am
yehyeh i agree although his club could be a bit shorter and his shoes are a bit tight round the toes

Another amazing part of this swing is how much his right thigh comes in to allow that quick hip rotation on his down swing. One of the reasons he has such a narrow stance on his set-up
