When you think about it it’s not that strange or ugly. It’s just a slight exaggeration on a 2 plane swing-seep up and flatten on downswing. He just goes ultra steep and ultra shallow! And to make it that little bit uglier he has a funny grip and strands really close!

compare it to a baseball swing, most power hitters like to pull the ball on the inside corner. same thing here, his swing looks like he is really pulling the ball in a sense. which would explain his funky backswing

I have always liked Furyk’s action! Some things that I try to learn from his swing: left arm staying connected, right elbow tucked in, and nice rotation.

You are an idiot. He has a perfect impact position. His hip rotation makes certain that club shallows out and he comes into impact perfectly square. It’s similar to what Trevino use to do…Dummy

the only thing that matters is a foot before the ball and a foot after the ball. Everything else can be jacked up but if you’re perfect that foot before and that foot after, your ball will be fine.
