Tiger isnt the best player 10 years and counting for no reason… I don’t think you should criticize someone who is obviousely wayyy better that you think you are!

This is a good analysis of club swing and deviation during the swing and something to think about if u r experiencing hook and excessive spin to the right.. Thx, helped me.

next time you show a video, you might acutally demonstrate what you are talking about, you know what they say, those who cant do teach !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
April 27th, 2010 at 12:35 am
“if i were to teach tiger” well you aint. i cant believe the crap out there in information. TAKE 100 GOLFERS AND YOU WILL HAVE 100 DIFFERENT SWING PATHS/PATTERNS. a proper player will say 1 day 2my triceps are tight- so i decrease the down swing speed, forearms are sensitive today- so i create more flick, hips are loose today, so i increase my stance put foot further back and smack it. remember..1 DIMENSION LEARNING= 1 DIMENSIONAL PLAY. IM A PRO -SO I KNOW

In the end it’s all about Swing Path, Clubface, and having as Less Moving Parts as you can without losing power.
Why don’t they ever get it, Jaacob?

I practice Joe Dante’s swing with a somewhat strong grip too Jaacob. I have quite flexible wrists, so I can handle the follow through
The only thing I don’t overdo in the Joe Dante swing is the exaggerated forward press, and the early completed set of the club. it’s there, but not as much. I think Dante & Shauger is very similar in many important parts of the swing & Joe had the only real scientific swing imo, and I’ve read up & practiced them all! No small feat.

I need to pull that book out again. It’s sitting in storage. :p
I’ve come across a number of different hand actions. The hinge & roll is most common, but unfortunately seems to be the most difficult to master (maybe it’s done on purpose so people have to keep taking lessons?). For accuracy, I like a dead hands type swing. There’s a power loss..but it’s super straight. For power and accuracy, I like the vertical hinge towards the rear shoulder with a strong grip – sort of a chop motion.

This theory is CERTAINLY NOT idiotic. If you knew anything about the golf swing, you’d know this is serious stuff. This is very much what Joe Dante teached in “Four magic moves to winning golf” back in 1962. I rate it as the absolute BEST instructional book to date. This swing is about using a vertical hinge and using a square-to-square swing type with more passive hands and absolutley no roll. Real good stuff actually.

You’re not really paying attention to what he’s saying. You can’t release by rolling your forearms over like tiger does with this hand action but you can hit it very straight and will great velocity more consistently. Look up Dan Shauger and open you mind.

I believe the final line after listing such credentials is Tom Lehman’s famous “T-t-take a suck on that one!”

Saying that Tiger is the best iron player on Tour is subjective. Most amateurs and pros open the club face because that is what is conventionally and popularly taught…not because it’s necessarily the “best” thing to do. This type of hand action does not lead to a reverse pivot as it is a hand action and not a pivot action. Some people do want to miss on the left…and yes, you can get a draw to stick just as well as a fade with a certain spin rate and launch angle.
April 27th, 2010 at 8:28 am
This guy is an idiot. There is a reason why Tiger is the best iron player on tour. Hardly any good pros play with a shut club face and this swing leads to a reverse pivot move into the ball. Nobody wants to hit to hit the ball left and thats all you can do with this swing. Like lee trevino says, “you can talk to a fade, but a hook won’t listen”

Jaacob, my past employer was highly involved in sponsoring sportsmen. He is an patron of arts, owner of one of the largest art collections in the world (worth 200 million €) and a close friend of the Dalai Lama and other prominent people.
He is one of the 20 richest people in the world (7 billion €).
He has got 60.000 Employees around the world. If you have any clear concept to satisfy him, I will make a connection for you.
What do you think Jaacob?
April 27th, 2010 at 9:27 am
The sponsorship is the reason I asked for your needed money Jaacob.
I will do my very best.
I did it once to a german Pro who played 3rd and 4th level professional events. Unfortunately he didn´t do it well enough.
April 27th, 2010 at 9:41 am
I’m hoping to play full-time this upcoming season, but it’ll depend on whether I make enough money on my own or I get some sort of backing.
I’ve got four events lined up for January/February…and at the least I’m planning US and British Open qualifying because I used to practice at Pebble Beach and I love St. Andrews. A dream Open lineup for the year if you ask me.
If you know of anyone that’s interested in discussing sponsorship options, send me a private message.

That sounds good Jaacob… but your talent I think is to teach the Mike Austin Swing. You´re explanation is very well.
I did not believe in succesful teaching against popular techniques for populace. PGA teachers will ever try to attack your person and your knowledge!
This kind of swing is more usable for golfers who really go for it… like me.
See you online Jaacob
