You are so right ! I use the move and work on it daily. It keeps me down and more solid through the ball. Once you start doing it ,you realize it is more natural to slide than to raise the foot up becuase you are going left any way. The great Moe Norman says you never raise your ankles you roll your ankles.

Thanks for posting. He slides the right foot up just as Hogan used to. The teaching pros of today frown on this beautiful move. Give the players of today the “wood” drivers of the late 60’s and you would not be seeing anything close to 300 yards from the current crop. Remember, the ball compression was way less back then too. Hammer
You always give us something good. Notice how he always slid his right foot. Unlike today where you can see the spikes on the bottom of everyone shoes.
