Hey look…i am not knocking Hank…he is good…but this Charles Barkley thing is beyond his abilities…and thats ok. I dont try and do surgery…and Hank shouldnt try and do this level of Mental Coaching.
Its like a hot knife going through butter for me…EASY!
If they were smart they would hook me up with Tiger…i could fix his stuff in less than 1 hour…and i would bet big money on that publicly as well.
And ill do it all on camera for the world to see.
I am the best mental golf coach in the world!
I can do it EASILY in a week because i know what is causing it and how to get rid of it. It would be more like 2 days max.
I also put my money where my mouth it look for the $25,000 Charles Barkley Challenge on you tube.
Why is he waiting? Why would he continue to embarrass himself if permanent change is available now?
Makes no sense to me…he has nothing to lose and everything to gain.
Some folks just like to be victims…hate to think Charles is.
dude, this is hank haney, one of the best instructors on the planet… and it took him more than a week to diagnose and correct flaws barkley has had for 10 yrs… in a week? who are you kidding… it was more mental than mechanical sir
This Groove Master Golf thing is no Joke! Stewart Cink has been putting with a short putter since I personally gave him a Groove Master at the Players. Luke Donald and Justin Rose also have a Groove Master since the players. Look how well they have been doing. I bet money it could fix Charles Barkley’s Swing
Barkley has always been him overweight, but he was still a great NBA player. He has a case of the yips – happens to the best of him. Generally it manifests in the putting stroke. Look at Bernhard Langer and tell me the yips aren’t a major hindrance.
The show is worthwhile if for nothing else than Charles’ interactions with the guests and Haney.
Charles – you need to hook up with John Smoltz at Hawks Ridge, A no name pitcher who couldn’t get anyone out at one point in his career, he brought in a shrink to sit in the stands. Think he is a sure time hall of famer now, not to mention a hell of a golfer…
I watched the show for the first time tonight. Let me get this straight:
1. former “athlete,” but he’s 75lbs overweight and they ride in golf carts.
2. former “athlete” but has no coordination.
3. thought this would be a good show but sorry, CB is clueless.
4. All the money in the world, can play golf every day of his life, has Hank for a coach, and he still completely SUCKS. As a golfer I’m supposed to watch this? G’bye.
Hank-give this up, embarassing!
I have certainly never bashed Hank, I have even said I admire his persistence and dedication. What I have said is, that he is dealing with this particular problem incorrectly therefore causing Charles unnecessary pain and I stand by that.
It’s entertainment, deal with it. I find sickening the way you bash haney to promote your psycho bull. I’m going to give you some psychological advice. Lose the negativity sister. Maybe then you can focus on your task at hand.
I couldn’t bear to watch the full show, the youtube videos were enough. Of course he laughs along with it, what else can he do, however I have worked with enough yippers now to know he will be in severe emotional pain inside, something a none yipper can never understand. As you say a blind man can see he has a problem but when you undersatnd what causes this problem it is certainly not funny
#1) Charles is a funloving guy. I’m sure he likes the attention of the show, and doesn’t mind getting filmed. He consistently says he knows his golf game sucks and you have to be blind not to see it.
#2) at 4:40 he says, “if the only thing bad in life is my golf game sucks, I’ve had a good run”.
The idea behind the project is to cure Charles unfortunately in my opinion, it is making a ’show’ out of Charles which I find sickening. I can totally cure him of his problem and save him 6 months of sweat, pain and humiliation
I discovered 7 years ago, the true cause for the ‘yips’ allowing me to totally cure them, my claims where tested by Hallam University, I appeared on Sky Sports television. Yet poor Charles is enduring ALL this!! it’s ridiculous. Hank Haney is way off the mark with his treatment for this problem and I will challenge him anyday
To make it easier to navigate, I have created playlists for each episode. Just click on my name and you should be able to view them all at once, instead of relying on related videos to guide you to the next clip. There will be 7 episodes of this series.

we did a research project this fall with 48 golfers with amazing results.
I would easily bet $10,000 i could fix his game in a week or less…no problem
